What is EFT?
Emotional Freedom Technique or ‘tapping’ treats emotional and physical conditions (the two are often related). It’is often referred to as acupuncture without needles.
The process has its roots in the ancient Chinese meridian system which takes energy around the body. It is based on the principle that all negative emotions are the result of a disruption to the body’s energy system. In a similar way to acupuncture, EFT looks to release blocked energy by stimulating key meridian points. By tapping on these points, whilst making a statement related to the problem, we release blockages in our energy system.
The basic EFT technique is easy to learn and simple to use. It can be highly effective for a range of psychological and physiological problems. In my experience, it works for the majority of people.
I teach the basic EFT tapping technique to all my clients. This happens in our first two sessions.
Session 1: You will learn the protocol.
Session 2: We look at how to personalise the basic technique in order to make it best work for the individual. This is achieved by being specific about aspects of the problem.
You will now be able to use the technique independently of me.
